Energy Monitoring

Enable per device​

  1. Turn on Energy monitoring
  2. Set Watt rating (e.g. 60W for an LED bulb)
  3. (Optional) Monthly budget kWh

How consumption is estimated​

When a device goes from online to offline, the system records a session using:

kWh ≈ (watt_rating × runtime in hours) / 1000

Reports​

  • Energy summary — tenant-wide overview
  • Daily / Monthly — per device
  • Reports — weekly charts in the dashboard

Accuracy limits​

Estimates use a fixed watt rating, not a physical meter — suitable for alerts and budgets, not official utility billing.
